Therapy that considers the whole person
I believe therapy works best when we look beyond symptoms and understand the person behind them. Your mental health can be shaped by your experiences, relationships, physical health, identity, culture and the expectations placed on you.
My approach is collaborative and personalised to your needs, values and circumstances. I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside a broader understanding of how psychological, physical and social factors can interact. My work is also informed by feminist and gender-informed perspectives, recognising how culture, power and social expectations can influence our mental health and experiences.
How I Can Support You
-
Low self-esteem and self-doubt can show up as overthinking, constantly questioning yourself, comparing yourself to others, seeking reassurance, or feeling like you're never quite good enough.
I'll work with you to understand where these patterns come from and what keeps them going, helping you develop a more secure sense of yourself and feel more confident in your decisions, relationships and everyday life.
-
We are constantly shaped by the social expectations around us. Gender roles and cultural norms can influence how we see ourselves, behave and relate to others.
Sometimes, we may find ourselves performing a version of ourselves that feels expected rather than genuinely chosen. Together, we can explore how these expectations influence your self-esteem, relationships, boundaries and sense of identity.
-
Trauma can affect how we see ourselves, relate to others and experience the world. You may experience anxiety, shame, self-blame, difficulties with trust or boundaries, or a persistent sense of feeling unsafe or out of control.
I have experience supporting people affected by trauma and sexual violence, including through my involvement with Rape Crisis services for women. My approach is informed by additional training and ongoing independent study in sexual violence and trauma.

Chronic stress and burnout can affect your energy, relationships, emotional wellbeing and ability to cope. You may feel overwhelmed, exhausted or constantly on edge, while perfectionism, self-criticism and low self-esteem make it difficult to slow down or set boundaries.
I take a holistic approach, considering your mental and physical wellbeing alongside the wider circumstances of your life. Together, we’ll explore patterns such as emotional dysregulation or difficulties managing anger, and identify changes that can help you feel more balanced and in control.
You don’t need to have a diagnosis to seek therapy. You may simply feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of how to move forward.
“I really appreciate how you have helped me for the last few weeks. Even though it’s been only one hour of your week, it’s made a massive difference in my life.”
“Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. You don´t have a normal job, you save people’s lives.”
“The sessions have made an absolute lifeline and I’ll never be able to put into words how much you’ve helped me. I’ll never forget your kindness, patience and the valuable guidance you’ve given.”
What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?
CBT explores the connection between your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviours. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to help you cope, feel more in control and move towards the life you want.
My goal is to help you develop lasting skills and understanding so that, over time, you feel more confident managing things on your own.
